Financing for Cancer and Chronic Disease Care in Emerging Markets

This session was made possible through the generous support of Novartis Oncology.

This well-attended session brought together high-profile speakers with first hand public health experience to offer perspectives on addressing the unrecognized burden of chronic disease in low-resource settings with adequate funding, systems and priority. Presentations and discussions focused on how the current models of funding and global health programs could address different and complex challenges posed by cancer and chronic disease management in countries with emerging economies.
