The Client: Psion Teklogix Inc. is a leading provider of rugged mobile computing solutions to a range of industries around the world.

Psion Teklogix delivers its mobile computing solutions in over 80 countries through a global network of direct sales and support offices, as well as regional business partners. These business partners include: value-added reseller partners, distribution partners, and third party supplier partners.

The Challenge: Psion Teklogix needed a cost-effective way to communicate with and provide training for it's over 1,100 employees around the world.

The Solution: Psion Teklogix uses Vcall web conferencing solutions to broadcast global employee communication meetings three times a year, providing for employees with updates and recaps from senior management. Two web sessions, each live and with different content, are held for each meeting - accommodating employees around the globe, including Europe, the Far East, and the Americas.

Psion Teklogix also uses web conferencing for monthly new hire orientation training sessions in North America. The training conferences are interactive, leveraging Q&A and polling features, to teach the new employees policies, procedures, technologies and product lines.

Vcall's platform allows the Psion Teklogix training department to easily create each training session, with company executives and IT management presenting various parts of the seminar.

Some web conferences are also archived on Psion's web site, available for employee or vendor access as appropriate.
