Vcall Web Conferencing is a 100% web-based interactive web conferencing application optimized for large web events where a premium is placed on a reliable, easy-to-use solution. The technology's architecture is designed with these goals in mind:
- Maximum ease of use for presenters and participants without compromising ability for a full suite of features
- Compatibility with a wide range of firewall, proxy, and cache server configurations
- Reliable and scalable architecture to serve large audiences
Participant Requirements
- Operating System: Windows 2000 to present, Macintosh OSX, Linux Redhat
- Browser: Internet Explorer (IE) 5.5+, Firefox 2.0+, Opera 9.0+, Mozilla 1.71+
- Other: Events with streaming audio or video require Macromedia Flash 8.0+
- Hardware: 56Kbps Internet access. Speakers or headphones and cable modem, DSL, ISDN, or equivalent broadband needed to receive audio/video streaming (128K minimum).
*Opera browser will not allow access to the Question and Answer feature of the conosle.
Presenter Requirements
- Operating System: Windows 98 to present, Linux Redhat
- Browser: Java enabled IE* 5.5+, Firefox* 2.0+, Opera* 9.0+, Mozilla* 1.71+
- Other:Events with streaming audio or video require Macromedia Flash 8.0+; Java 1.5.0+ version
- Hardware:56Kbps Internet access. Headset with microphone AND cable modem, DSL, ISDN, or equivalent broadband needed for audio/video streaming or AppCast (128K minimum).
